The Stables - Self-catering
The main entrance with porch leads to a hallway with easy stairs to the first floor bedroom. This is set up as a twin but the beds can be zipped together to make a super-king (6 foot) bed on request.
Overlooking the stream is a Juliet balcony and a door to a small guarded flat roof section adjoining the Splash Mill walkway.
The bedroom has a dressing table, chests of drawers, wardrobe and a flat screen digital TV with DVD.
Downstairs there is a lounge with French doors to the riverside patio, leather sofa, 4 seater dining table with chairs, digital TV, DVD and video, CD player with I-pod dock and fridge/freezer.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower (large enough for 2?), w.c. and hand basin.
The small kitchen offers a 4 ring electric hob with seprate grill and oven; toaster, electric kettle, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Also a secondary entrance adjacent to that of SM.
Outside is a paved patio area with table and chairs.
Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the cottage.
A Welcome Hamper of breakfast food is provided for guests on arrival.
This cottage is a romantic hide-away but can be used as additional accommodation for guests to Splash Mill.
Terms and conditions
During the Winter months from 1st November to 30th April The Stables is available for £80 per night with a minimum stay requirement of two nights or £400 for stays of 7 nights. During the Summer months from 1st May to 31st October The Stables is available at £600 per week with additional nights charged at £100 per night. Minimum stay 1 week. Shorter stays will be considered if the property is unbooked close to the required date.
The Stables is not able to accommodate pets.
All bookings must be accompanied by a valid credit card.
All damages will be charged to the credit card.
A 50% non-refundable non-negotiable deposit is taken at booking with the remaining 50% payable on arrival and subject to a 7 day cancellation period.
Advance bookings will only be taken a maximum of three months prior to your stay.
The number of guests and the ages of the children must be specified at the time of booking.
Arrival times: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm or earlier by prior arrangement. Please come to The Oast Barn on arrival and Sylvia will take you to The Stables once the formalities have been completed.
Check-out times: 10:00 am weekdays, 11:00 am weekends.
